DORIS SCHAMP, also known by her alias, La Razzia was born in Austria. She studied product and furniture design at the Kingston University, St. Pölten, art education at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and worked with animation and animated film at the HSLU Lucerne in Switzerland.

She graduated with two master degrees. Since then, she has worked as an artist in various disciplines from animation to sculpture, taking commissions for companies such as Red Bull and Rado.

Though her iconic sculptures, cartoons, and various other pieces often seem innocent and funny, they also just as often carry critical social messages inspired by the human race, one of the main influences of Schamp’s work.
